I usually always surf from the laptop's internal Wi-Fi module. It always worked perfectly, but a few days ago the connection outside of the room where the router is located suddenly became weaker. Then nothing worked. Not even right next to the router. Connection not possible.
Now I have connected an external Wi-Fi module and suddenly it works again.
Does anyone have any idea where the problem may be?
Acer laptop?
No, is an HP. With the Fujitsu, the signal became noticeably weaker a few days ago…
Then just swap the internal WLAN module.
Not a very elegant solution. The internal module works - logging in via a cell phone hotspot is no problem. Signal is also there. I just can't dial in, even right next to the router.
Tried router reset?
I tried that first, yes.
WLAN module uninstalled and then reinstalled?
