I need a good laptop for my IT system electronics education. He should cost a maximum of 300-400 euro and not too little calculating class. I have not dealt with PCs for a long time and that's why my knowledge is pretty outdated. Is there something acceptable? Or should I expect more?
I would opt for a multimedia device with a processor from Intel Core i5 or something equivalent from AMD. Then 8 GB of RAM and at best an SSD, which also provides for a decent speed boost.
For example, there's this device for 400 euro: https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...g7+6hm83es
It is a 15.6-inch device with an anti-reflection Full HD display. An Intel Core i5-8265U, 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD are installed. A battery life of up to 12 hours is also quite neat.
An operating system is not available, but you could, for example, still get here for just 12.50 euro an OEM license for Windows 10 Home: https://www.mmoga.de/Software/Windows/Windows-10-Home-OEM.html
Either old thinkpads or something

Where a Thinkpad is better
That would be perfect for linux
