Does QuickTime Player need a lot of work capacity?

I would like to record my screen via QuickTime Player during an online exam so that I have "evidence" in the event of any technical problems with the exam platform. Now I don't want to shoot "own goal" and overload my laptop with QuickTime Player.

Do you think recording takes so much power from your PC that your Mac could crash?

If you don't have a totally decrepit Mac, that shouldn't be a problem. Just try it out!

Apart from that, I find the "evidence" rather strange, but you have to know that in the end.
