Headset emits sound but is not recognized?

I have a normal cell phone headset (sound & micro) connected via a Y-plug into the two sockets of my laptop. The entire sound is now going through the headset, but the headset is not detected in the Windows sound settings.

This way I can't test the microphone. I need the headset for teamspeak (the mic will not show up to me)

Can be recognized in the classical sense there's nothing. Windows recognizes the Soubd card, the headset is only there as an analog device to it.

In contrast to headsets with an active USB sound card, you can't select the headset yourself in the Windows Sound settings.

Do you see in the audio input devices because your sound card?

Re

Headsets are not recognized in most cases. Unless you put a NEN headset on a NEN xbox or PS4 controller, you will see an HS symbol on the TV. But what else do you want to ping because stuck in controller.

on the computer when you plug in NEN device, then windows recognizes this only as a "headset", if you connect it to the green port.

at the red connection, for example. Would that be the microphone. Then you can talk, it is also recorded, but you hear nothing.

There are also black jacks that work with listening and talking, so a classic headset.

some headsets have 2 cables, 1 red and 1 green. The green to the green and the red to the red.

Red is for the microphone

Green for the earphones.

Only USB headsets, for example. Have sometimes built a chip internally because the headset still ne high-quality sound card is installed. For example. Creative Labs has a headset surround… With built-in surround sound card. Then the headset is recognized on USB as a stand-alone device and can make equal settings for the sound reception.

Have a headset with a common connection for sound and micro and have it via an adapter (ykabel with red and green jack) connected. Can ch use the headset for teamspeak? Because as I said, the micro is not recognized as such.

Gr

No, I only see the speakers of the laptop, Realtek Speakers. Is there a way to use the micro?

Na

That's the sound card.
