When I start my laptop I have already used about 40% RAM without opening anything…
Then when I start RAGE MP Launcher (gta v) I'm at 100% CPU or RAM and the game starts to jerk…
for weeks it went from one day to the next, it started to jerky and so far (it started 3 days ago).
I have already tried graphics up / down did not really bring anything, I closed a few things but everything does not help… I only have steam and rage mp open (vll still teamspeak).
can i fix this?

I have about the same laptop as you only with a NEN i7 7700hq and 16GB ram. Only had the problem with me, it was the Windows defender that ate 50% of ram and 60% of my cpu. Then I checked online how to turn it off and after turning it off the game ran again without problems. I don't know exactly what the error is called but quite a few people have it.

But would you still recommend an upgrade suf 16gb dss only costs around 20euro if you buy 8gb, otherwise just around 50
