I've read that reading from small screens shouldn't be good for the eyes
On the tablet…
Sufficiently large screen, easy touch operation like on a mobile phone, no superfluous and too large mass
I agree.
Unfortunately, my iPad sold out of financial difficulties
There are ebook readers for smart watches, I've heard, it's best to read texts on a monitor, it's clearer and is easy on the eyes in that you don't have to scroll constantly and the movement is switched off when you open a complete page a static picture gets to be read.
it turned out to be so in the course of publishing the books. Otherwise, books today would probably not be flat and square as we know them, but spiral-shaped and super thick, and large sheets of paper as small as matchboxes, as if one were to bind 1000 pages of smartwatches together into a book.
The tablet is actually good because you can read in bed too. But the possibility of distraction is probably greater than with a laptop, which is on a surface
After I scrapped my iPad2, I switched to Android tablets (Samsung A Tab). When someone sends me a long article or VideoLink to my mobile phone, I usually forward it to the tablet and I also have my most important chat partners on the tablet (on WhatsApp).
Is there a mouse function? (Natural mouse function as with Windows)
With the iPad, I was annoyed that the mouse pointer is a circle, which looks ugly and has no click sound.
Do not understand what you mean. The full screen setting is standard on the tablet, while multitasking works much better on a PC / laptop.
For example, during a chat or video conference, I would be much more likely to try to surf the web or to type something (email, Word, …). OK, something should pop up while reading, but if you just 'listen' to something, the distraction is much easier.
By distraction I mean rather that you move or "roll around" in bed and are no longer as concentrated
Um, I rarely do it (so far only tried it). In the meantime there's a mouse function on both iOS and Android that starts automatically when connected (BT) or plug-in (USB).
Hmm, is that a generation question?! = ;-)
One lounges comfortably and reads, etc.
I mean… That's how you used to read whole books! Or not?
With the iPad, I was also annoyed that the article turns over when I turn the iPad slightly.
Of course you can deactivate the orientation lock, but mostly you need it activated, because it is better with videos (landscape format) … Then having to deactivate it before each reading is annoying.
Otherwise the fun of reading will spoil if something is done by touch that you don't want.
Basically, I stick to my opinion that it would be better on the laptop, since the reading content is "fixed" and can be easily scrolled down with the arrow keys.
But I will soon test this extensively, since I haven't had a laptop for a long time, i.e. Since mid-2018
If then there, or on paper.
I find this trend of doing everything on the cell phone terrible and you can slowly see where it is going. Half the internet has already been destroyed.
I was looking for a new One Piece jumpsuit, and it was better on the laptop.
In fact, I'm a pure laptop user.
On my smartphone I only have Whatsapp, 112 Magazin, TV Spielfilm and my banking app, because I have to confirm the login on the laptop with my mobile phone.
Yes, there's, even a mouse and keyboard. You only have to have a plug-in to connect.
Actually, tablets are perfect when it comes to top form, as the page is shown completely as in real life
With laptops it is only shown in the middle and you would have to zoom
Actually, all mobile devices now have BT. Therefore, software support is primarily necessary.
A pointer is required for the mouse and the function of not constantly displaying an OnScreenTasta for the keyboard.
My 3rd PPC didn't have either over 15 years ago, despite BlueTooth. Although the mouse and keyboard could be connected via BT, operation was virtually impossible. Without a pointer, the mouse had to be operated 'blindly' and on the Tasta the OnScreenTasta had to be manually hidden again and again.
