How to lock your laptop with a password?

Hey hey I would like to lock my laptop (with a password) but don't know how. I've already tried to find out on the Internet, but somehow I got stuck there. Possibly. Can someone help me here. Would be nice ^^

if you want to set a user password, just proceed as follows.

Windows Search> Computer Management> Local Users and Groups> Users> Right click on your user> Set password.

If you then log out you have to log in with your newly assigned password, the same applies if you just lock your screen with Windows key + L.
