I have changed the screen frequency on my laptop from 60hz to 120hz now I have the problem that I can't start Windows the screen remains black?

What can I do?

Mo

This is of course not exactly smart to adjust the screen so blatantly, but in general, the image should be reset in 20 seconds, if the monitor can no longer output, at least in the Nvidia Control Panel!

In your place, I would hang the laptop to another monitor and then change over there, then just stop me just Windows + P rumprobieren, you have picture.

Otherwise, I would try a BIOS reset and if necessary, the operating system reset

Try to reset the frame rate in safe mode.

How do I get there?

The classic way is to press Shift + F8 at startup.

You can tell me please what I should do next so I'm now in safe mode

Actually, just as you have set the frequency to 120 Hz, you put it back down to 60 Hz.

Usually this works as described here: https://tipps.computerbild.de/hardware/komponenten/monitor-hertz-aendern-554345.html

It is also about the graphics card software. These are usually found in the Control Panel. - The AMD but under Programs (Start menu).
