I reset my laptop (Windows 8 or even 8.1). I wanted to reinstall Origin. There was an error (msvcp140.dll and vcruntime140.dll would be missing) which I was able to fix, but now I can't run "originthinsetup". Then comes the message that the action can't be carried out correctly and then this error code 0xc000007b came.
I googled and looked at Youtube but it doesn't help. Even this "all in runtime" didn't bring anything.
Can anyone help me?! 😒
The simplest solution would be an in-place upgrade to windows 10. Windows 10 will be reinstalled cleanly but you can keep your existing files. Reinstalling Origin and other apps is the least of these.
Believe that is the only solution, at least I know the dll and there was really no fix
And how do I do that?
