Microphone on my headset does not work?

It is recognized by Device Manager, but it does not record sound, though I can listen to music myself. It is connected with USB.

Edit: it is recognized on the laptop, not on the PC

Maybe the input device has been changed but the output device has remained!

Unfortunately not. It is recognized as a microphone. On my laptop it works, yes, s.pc not

Problem has been solved. The privacy settings were disabled.
