The four of us would like to create a Minecraft Life in the Woods server with 4 GB RAM and install a few mods in addition.
We have three PCs and a laptop.
My question is:
What is the performance of the laptop in order to be able to play well on the server? And how does it work with the installed mods? If I install this as a server builder, does the laptop also have to have the performance or just my PC? I guess the laptop too.
Which laptop is it or which CPU is installed?

Mods must be installed on the client and the server. Depending on the mods and number of players, 4GB might not be enough but you have to try it out.
Everyone who plays on it must of course have the power to withstand the mods.
The one who hosts the server of you has the greatest load because the server and the client are running on it at the same time
