Transfer pictures from the smartphone to the computer?

I have an OUKITEL WP5 outdoor phone. How can I upload photos from my mobile phone to my laptop? When I connect the cell phone to the computer with a cable, it recognizes the cell phone but no files are displayed.

Does the mobile phone show you any options after connecting it with the USB cable or ask how it should connect (MTP, "Only charge", …)?
