Headphone jack on the laptop does not work anymore. What to do?

When I connect my headphones or my stereo to the laptop, the plugs are just loose and the computer does not recognize that I've connected something. I suspect that there's something inside slipped on and so the plug no longer have any contact and no longer stuck.

I put some tin foil in it. He then realizes that something is connected. But then comes when playing the test sound either only the sound of the left side of the left box, or the left earphones or it depends on the sound of both sides on the left box, or the left earphones. On the right nothing matters. I've also connected headphones and stereo to another device and they work flawlessly.

Does anyone know what you can do there? It's not worth the time to repair the laptop. On the screen, the right three centimeters are permanently white. First there was a white streak in the middle, which my computer guy took away by pinching a piece of metal (most of the other computer stores would probably have given up before, but he's really screwed up the boxes himself). For the edge, I would need a new screen, which is no longer worthwhile. So now I only fix things that I get my turn on. I do not put money in the box anymore. Just so everyone knows what's up. The sound also had a complete loose contact, which my computer man could also repair. But if I do not connect anything, the sound works without any problems at the moment.

My

Usb sound card costs 3 euro. Emergency solution but helps.
