For a family member I bought a laptop and a docking station. When I wanted to set it up a while later, a cable was missing, which was still there at the beginning. Apparently someone has lost it…
Now I would have to know where I can reorder this cable, since I find it nowhere. It's about the cable between the docking station and the laptop (USB 3.0 to USB C). The cable is yellowish. I think almost everyone has already seen it in some context.
Here is a picture to make the whole thing more understandable.
This USB port has always just power and is suitable as a charging port for devices, even if the laptop is off. There you can connect any USB cable. Whether on USB-C or normal.
The yellow marking of the USB connection signals to my knowledge only that the port remains powered even when the power is turned off, which does not seem very sensible to me with a docking station, or does this have an IO switch?
Otherwise I would simply get a stink normal cable USB A to C cable for it.
Look here with which symbol it exactly matched
Thank you for your help! Has no IO switch.
Perfect thank you!
