Buy a laptop / notebook now or in a few months?
I have a rather old laptop (about 5 years old) in the 400 EUR price range. The laptop is still running but it gets a bit slow and the memory is full (only 128 GB SSD.
I slowly wanted to buy a new laptop in the 600-800 EUR price range so that I could play a bit like Anno 1800 or the current flight simulator.
I currently have the feeling that laptops are quite expensive, some laptops are more expensive than a year ago. Should I wait a few more months, as I said, I'm not in a hurry or do you think the prices will stay that high?
P.S Are the prices so high due to Corona?
I actually don't think that the prices are because of Corona.
At some point I want to buy a laptop too, but I want to wait until I go to university or 11/12. Class am. So it would be too early for me.
It also depends on your situation, whether you need it urgently or not. But I would wait a few more months for newer models to come out.
The new laptops coming out this month from ASUS Legion & Co are going to be quite expensive, but if you don't have a PC and just have a very old laptop… I'd wait for you and check the prices of the new laptops if I did is too expensive for you, then check out the top of the line laptops of the last generation.
The laptops are supposed to be available, only the desktop CPUs and GPUs are absolutely in short supply.
