Laptop after a small electric shock without electricity?

I got a small electric shock this morning when I touched my laptop (like shaking hands with someone). At that moment the laptop was switched on and a program was currently running. The laptop switched off immediately. Now wanted to turn it on again after about 3.5 hours, but nothing is happening… Can you maybe give me a tip about what I can do to make it work again? 🤔

If you have given an overvoltage due to the "electric shock" on the device, the sensitive semiconductor / IC may be damaged and the main board is defective.

If the laptop is not working at all, neither LED nor fan; then unfortunately, from your side as a layman, no own repair is possible.

Thank you for the quick answer 😊

Unfortunately nothing works anymore. No LED, no fan, nothing 😩

Oh dear, that doesn't sound good. Then I have to see if I can find a good technician.

Could it also have had a negative impact on the laptop that it was connected to the power at that moment?

Gr

Not on the stream itself, but that it was switched on, yes.
Perhaps you could completely disconnect the battery again and reinsert it after 1-2 minutes or then reconnect it in the device itself.
