Switch micro?

I want to change my micro. I always had the standard micro from the laptop, but now I've connected a new one. But now I have to somehow change the settings so that I can use the new one. Where exactly do you do that?

Click on the small loudspeaker next to the clock (and then on the "Text").

Select the new device in the Windows sound settings under "Input"
