So far, I have always used the Caliber program. But if I now want to pull an ePub file (bought in the iBooks store) into the program at all, I get an error message - the file is allegedly defective. But it works perfectly on laptop and mobile phone. I've even loaded and installed an add-on for Caliber, but that does not fix the problem either. Is there somehow, somewhere a current step-by-step guide how to get my purchased eBooks on my Kindle?
Do you have the latest Caliber version 3.39.1?
Jap, already updated!
It could be that the ePub file has a copy protection. Maybe that's why the error message.
The file may have a hard copy protection. But there's also a solution.
Thanks for the hint! However, all previously purchased eBooks from iBooks had a hard copy protection (= DRM) and I was able to import them at least, if not convert the same.
It's just an idea. But that would be my first guess. But in fact it's strange that the file can't be imported.
