Laptop disk is not detected?

Have a laptop Medion erazer with 2 hard disk slots. Now I have the problem that in one slot, the hard drive is not recognized. What can this be? The hard disk was connected to a USB hard disk adapter and works. So that can be excluded as a source of error, right?

Did you create a partition for the hard drive?

Yes, one was the mech. Disks. And the other the SSD.

When both worked, there was no partition.

Yes, the second one sees, there's only one partition created. You still have to create one for your other SSD / HDD.
