My laptop screen always flickers black when it is not charging. Does anyone know of a possible solution to this?

I have also completely rebuilt the laptop and still have the problem. In the past, it only started to flicker when the battery is about 50%. Now the screen flickers immediately after I disconnect the charging cable.

Sounds like a broken battery.

I doubt the connection with the battery. Such flickering is more likely due to loose or detachable ribbon cables that are necessary for the display. And possibly also wear and then a defect in one of these cables. So if you ask me, someone has to have a look there.

And you are sure that as long as it is attached to the charging cable there's no flickering?
