I'm looking for a DJ mixer (without software or computer to which it is connected) for the application of vinyl records with a sampling function, in which when you play the recorded sample you can listen to it via the headphones before you listen to it ultimately plays through the output.
ENORM WIXCHTIG This does not mean a controller or similar mixer that you connect to a computer / laptop. What is meant is an old school stereo mixer (like there was until the end of the 90s, i.e. No Serato (!), No tractor (!), Etc.)
To fire triggers & samples from the Akai something like this?
Maybe that would work?

With the samples, I don't know that now. Could imagine it.
It is a good thing that this is just a MIDI controller with regard to the samples and would therefore again require software and a computer.
I don't know any current mixers that provide this function. In the past, actually in the 90s, there were mixers with an integrated sample bank. But it is hard to come by, and the sample banks were probably rather creepy for today's terms.
I would solve it differently: I would use a sampler, e.g. Integrate the Roland 404 via the send-return loop of the mixer. So you can sample, but then turn off the effects loop, so that you can pick up the sample on the sampler beforehand using headphones. Or you can route the sampler's output directly to a line channel. That should be the most practical.
No computer / laptop / tablet, smartphone, etc. Should be used. I.e. 2x turtables without time code, etc. And a DJ mixer - that would be the case. Sampling and especially listening to the samples with this controller?
Serato etc. Is given here as software - so the question is whether this is possible without sampling software and thus on the device itself and, above all, listening to the samples before they are output.
Sorry, I'm not looking for a controller - that's the relevant point to my question
Right, e.g. There were DJ mixers from e.g. Behringer, who could- With the Send Return Loop- Do you have a source how to connect them to sample? It is important that no laptop, computer, smartphone, tablet, etc. (etc) is required
P.s. However, you couldn't listen to the samples from Behringer and there was no "intelligent" loop function. That's the point - I'm looking for a mixer, just with a listen function and at best an intelligent loop function (no standard loop, if possible)
Read the product details. Please don't just look at pictures.
"2 USB inputs for standalone use without a computer"
Listening to the samples is such a special question, unfortunately I can't help you with that. But call the Thomann, there are really capable DJs at the start who can possibly answer that for you. And then take a look at the picture anyway, because Line 3 + 4 can be set to Phono.
Super.
There's certainly no such mixer (sampling with preview function and quantized looping). The mixer that is closest to it is the DJM2000 (Nexus).
