Origin does not install anymore, what to do?

I do not really know how to explain the question because I have no idea about technology😅. So, I had Origin installed on the laptop to play Sims 4. So, the laptop did not work any more a while ago, and then a technician deleted all, or some applications and threw them away with the fuss. When I recently wanted to play Sims again and I noticed that the things were gone, I wanted to download Origin quite normal again. Did I do it again as normal. However, then came there that this program was already installed and you just need to update it. That did not work. We also tried it very often. At some point it was short, but then I could access no more games. Then came back the message that it must be updated again. We then deleted any traces and data about Origin and downloaded it again "fresh". Then came the following message:

I'm on Google and have first searched what that is. Then I downloaded it from "CHIP". Under Downloads I could find it but this program can somehow not open. Then we deleted Origin again and tried again. Just now came this:

I pressed yes and now it has been updating for ages, but no progress is made.

Does anyone have a hint what that is and what I have to do?
