Currently I install Linux Mint on my laptop because I prefer to switch from Windows. However, it seems to me as if the installation had been suspended in "files are copied". What can I do? Is it safe to simply shut down the laptop with a button? I have selected the dual-boot method, does that have any influence?
As long as you have installed Windows, which is probably the case, this should be done without any further problems. Of course, you then have to select another partition in the Linux Mint installation. What haste been selected in the setup settings?
Have just created a partition with a capacity of 21GB, installed the other programs, and selected my region.
What kind of laptop do you have?
