I measured 55 MBit / s DOWNLOAD and 9 UPLOAD on 2 laptops with a stable 50k line that is installed!
On a slightly older Win 10 laptop, however, there are only 20 max. 30 in the download and 9 in the upload!
Is it perhaps because of the laptop that it is so slow?
The speed of course also depends on the computer and the router and the devices connected to it, as well as on the LAN cable, since each has different speeds.
This can be due to the device itself, if it simply can't cope with the incoming data volume, it just swallows what it can. The problem occurred on a large scale when people with ancient PCs booked the 32Mbit connections from KDG that were new at the time.

So LAN cables themselves do not have different speeds. From a certain speed, the cables must meet certain criteria / categories. But 10GBit Ethernet can also be operated cleanly via cable ~ 10-15m. What goes over the cable decides what the port provides / can provide (logically no 1GBit go over a 100MBit port).
Then it can either be because the cable can't transmit high frequencies or the LAN chip on your PC was not manufactured for such high speeds.
