Will it get worse to leak?

Just now, a hard piece of metal hit my laptop screen. There's now an approx. 0.5mm dead pixel and the screen has somehow become hard and there's a kind of hill.

Is it getting worse now, so now the pixels will gradually die?

Can be if it is live (not electrical voltage). However, laptop displays can also be exchanged, which is easy depending on the laptop and does not cost much.

Mechanical stress. That can already be seen with laptops.

I once had a screen that hit a sharp corner at one point during transport. At first only one point was visible. Over the course of the next few days and weeks, it spread across half the screen. Unfortunately, the monitor was junk.

Doesn't have to be like that with yours, but the possibility exists.
