GPU doesn't get warm?

I always keep an eye on the temperature with Afterburner. Usually I'm at 75 °, but my laptop has not been above 54 ° for 2 days.

You can imagine that my FPS are screwed up, unfortunately I have no idea what happened, basically nothing has changed and I haven't fumbled around or entered anything.

I guess he was (maybe) overloaded and doesn't work that much anymore, so the temperature goes down. Did you look at or do something on your laptop that had very high graphics? That would be a reason.

Maybe there was a driver update where the FPS were fixed at e.g. 60 as Max.

With Afterburner there should be the possibility to limit the FPS number.

But if that was done it was because it made sense.

Currently playing GTA, but on a low setting. I mean it has been working without any problems for months. How can I decrease this setting so that I can get back to normal?

A computer doesn't care if it's overloaded or not. If it gets too warm, it goes out and starts up again. End of the story.

Whereby less temperature is actually something good. Especially with a laptop. They often reach temperatures that can shorten the hardware life or even destroy hardware.

So if everything is still running reasonably smoothly I would leave it that way. Simply switch off the FPS display and you're done.
