My laptop has almost 100% disk usage when no program is open.
I have already finished all autostarts I do not need, all the programs I uninstalled you no longer need. CCleaner run over it several times and also Glary Utilitis. He does not jerk anymore, he has been down to 80% for a while, but after a restart he was back at 100%.
He found bugs in the drive scan, but felt that Glary Utilitis can't fix them, he goes through each one again.
I hope someone has an idea, because I'm slowly thinking of putting it up.
Look in the task manager to see which process generates the disk usage. There you can sort according to utilization.
Either the hard drive is broken or your Lappi has caught a virus. Put your Windows on again. If the problem is still, then buy a new hard drive first.
I just looked, there's no program displayed. The highest is "system" with about "0.5 MB / s". The data transfer rate is also very low between 10-20 MB / s
Just watch, often Windows background processes take advantage of free capacities, e.g. Indexing files, downloading updates, and so on.
However, these resources will normally free up again when another process wants to access them.
The question that actually arises is: Did you notice any performance issues?
Since I have checked the hard drives for errors several times with Glary Utilities and this has fixed the program, the volume utilization was suddenly under 10%.
Did you ever run a decent virus scanner?
It may also be the early death of your hard drive. I would create a backup for security.
Problem has now solved itself, have over Glary Utilitis the hard drive several times to check for errors, he has also found some and has also fixed these bugs and now the laptop runs smoothly with a hard disk load of less than 10%
Excellent!
