The only thing I did was a CPU driver update from amd and then it didn't work anymore.
Check your process list to see if a process is consuming an unnatural amount of resources and kill it if necessary.
Undo the "update", uninstall the murks. What should a CPU driver be?
Just a guess (possibility to test):
Believe that it is not a technical Problem. Watch it for a while; a Windows update might be running in the background that is holding up.
As an alternative, look at which programs are constantly running in the background and are disruptive. I would turn them all off: "Without system start!"; this does not mean that they are deleted, but can still be started without problems if required.
