Eye-friendly laptops?

I want to get a laptop for my studies. Since I will also use it privately, I stare at the screen for a long time. What should I pay attention to when buying, if the screen max. To be gentle on the eyes?

If you are close to the device, it is best to have the highest possible resolution. (Full HD is sufficient for small screens, for large UHD, if not too expensive)

Otherwise, set the screen as dark as it is clearly visible and activate the night color mode if you feel like it and you do not have to recognize all shades perfectly.

Laptops with nightshift or something like that are not bad, especially if you have to work at night.

The blue light wakes you up and Nightshift dimming the blue light

Window 10 has the night mode. 🖖

For studying, if you drag the thing into the lecture hall, anything smaller than the 17-inch parts, eg. 14-15 inches screen.
Alternatively, in the apartment a larger additional screen - finally get large monitors new already from 100, - €

If you do not want to run the laptop in the lecture room / confined space and do not want to have another extra screen at home, then a 17 inch notebook. I think that one inch (2.54 cm) actually makes a big difference to the notebooks, or even 2 inches versus a 14 inch notebook.

I have even seen screens that look good on laptops. As a normal monitor, however, already.

I would consider the following points when buying:

Anti-reflective: The colors do not look so crisp anymore, but even the eyes
Full HD resolution (1920x1080): Better, sharper picture
Size: 14 inches are enough for me and then the laptop is not that big and heavy

Then you can activate the night mode in Windows. Then the screen is slightly yellowish, which is much more pleasant.
