My Steam account is not loading. To do something?

So I reinstalled a new laptop and Steam, logged in. Everything went great. But whenever I open Steam and go to my library, I only see black. When I try to go to the shop the thing loads forever but the screen is still black what should I do now?

I know.
Steam is probably still doing its updates in parallel? Then the other pages load slowly. It's been like this for a while.

Have you already tried it with a test account? Otherwise reinstall Steam as always.

Open the task manager and end the process: Steam Client WebHelper but only that and then try again. 🙂
