For a short time I've decided to move from Windows 10 to Linux Deep In. The reason for that is the effective and good looking design. Right now I use Microsoft One Drive and Office to sync all my files to my laptop, phone and PC. Can I also use these programs on Linux? Does it make sense to change and are there big advantages or disadvantages?
Besides, my laptop is pretty low end. Will I feel performance differences in positive or negative?
Which Linux you choose has nothing to do with the choice of your GUI. So your graphical access to the system.
Are you a beginner? Then take a Ubuntu is a bit easier for beginning.
Can you also recommend Debian. I use everywhere, because it is very slim.
You can then install the GUI which you want
Deepin itself is just the GUI.
In itself Linux mMn is always worthwhile - except, if you really only want to gamble.
Office itself is - depending on the version - easily via Wine possible (until 2013 in any case, 2016 I'm still incht tested).
For OneNote one would have to see if there's a client for the synchronization.
