Laptop recommendation study?

I'm looking for a laptop up to 300-400 euro.

I mainly need the thing for Office, I want to learn with it. Summarize and print out scripts. Research something in Google, etc. Watch a video on YouTube. Something like that. I don't play games and I don't use social networks except Good Question. Maybe I'll take a look at something in Amazon. The thing should be compact and not have a screen that is too large so that I can take it with me anywhere or learn comfortably in bed.

Knows there something good?

The only thing you need in your case is an SSD.

As

I would recommend something like that. Light and good battery life, but very fast with everything that is planned.

Since he doesn't want a screen that is too big, I assume that 15.6 inches are too big. For 300 euro that is also bad hardware.

The selection of small laptops is relatively small compared to devices from 15.6 inches, especially in the price range you mentioned. For a decent office device, I would personally use at least an AMD Ryzen 3 or Intel Core i3. In addition, 8 GB RAM and an SSD, since this also provides a decent speed boost.

If 14 inches are not too big for you and you can add 20 euro to it, then a suitable device from Lenovo would be: https://www.computeruniverse.net/de/lenovo-ideapad-s340-14api-81nb0045ge-r3-3200u-8gb128gb-ssd-14fhd-w10

It is a 14-inch device with a matte Full HD display. An AMD Ryzen 3 3200U, 8 GB RAM and a 128 GB SSD are installed. Is not a lot of memory now, but if you don't install huge programs, you can get by. Furthermore, Windows 10 is already preinstalled.

Thanks WAS AN ACCIDENT WITH NOT HELPFUL!

15 inches are almost nothing? I was more concerned with the battery life, but that's why I said that I'm not very familiar with laptops.

Please ignore my answer.

I don't want to question that the Ryzen is better in your configuration. However, CPU performance is simply not required. In this case, swapping the 20% performance difference for a SSD that is twice as large is worth much more.

We're talking about an office laptop. Word pulls 55MB Ram and 1.5 - 2% CPU for me. There's also a matt display here, and even Windows 10 Home and not S like your model (of course S would be enough). The battery life is approximately the same for both models. From experience, I would say your model can get you out ~ 30 minutes longer.

So for me it is very clear: Double SSD: homicide argument with such a notebook
