Yesterday I stumbled over my charging cable and noticed today that my laptop is not charging anymore. Of course I would like to save the money but I'm afraid that I have to buy a new one, but I hope someone can help me with my problem
If I push the cable in here then it loads, so I still have hope:
I would recommend you to buy a new one. I think the cable is beyond saving.
If this is the charging socket, then everything is fine. Even if it loads. And you should take it and do not bump into it.
This looks like a cable break. The socket is (hopefully) not broken.
I would get a new cable, or if the cable is not separated from the netzeil, which is unfortunately often the case, get a new power supply.
As long as the voltage, performance and the plug fits, that also does not have to be original (although I would not choose the cheapest one, because you do not have a long time).
You could of course also open the power supply and even attach a new cable to it, but that is only recommended if you have a clue what you are doing.
