So as I said. 500gb SSD and 8GB of RAM would be fine. She just wants to play Sims 3 on the PC, nothing else. And yes, unfortunately it must necessarily be a laptop… A PC is not in question. The processor does not have to be too good right now, is it? I think a recent Intel - i3 should be enough right? Do you have concrete offerers / laptop suggestions? Oh yes and she prefers the color blue XD. I will because price / performance - technically not find it. She wants to spend about 700Euro.
So if only Sims 3 should be, then what is enough with far fewer requirements ^^
I always played on my old Lappi.
You probably will not find a 500 GB SSD in this price segment without having to make heavy cuts elsewhere.
Take a look at https://www.mydealz.de/deals/acer-nitro-5-156-fhd-ips-ryzen-7-2700u-8gb-ram-256gb-ssd-radeon-rx-560x-4gb-55h-akku-usb-c-3x-usb-hdmi-sd-linux-1345882. At Notebooksbiliger there's the Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-42-R9Y8) for 649 euro from 0.00 o'clock. According to the thread with the following specifications, which should be far enough for SIMS 3:
Display 15.6 ", 1920x1080, 141dpi, non-glare, IPS
CPU AMD Ryzen 7 2700U, 4x 2.20GHz
RAM 8GB DDR4-2400 (2x 4GB modules, 2 slots, max 32GB)
SSD 256GB
Graphics AMD Radeon RX 560X, 4GB GDDR5, HDMI
Attention: Linux only, so you may need Windows 10
An i5 of the 8th generation would be a good choice as it is a true 4 core. An i3 is still fine. Manufacturer does not really care, they take little. Personally, I would tend to have an Acer Aspire or Asus.
