Seagate Network Hard Drive (NAS) Connection Problems?

As described above, I have a problem accessing the Seagate Central NAS 2 TB version STCG2000200 … I have no problems logging on to my computer with the password. Until recently I had none on the notebook itself, except for the last update of Windows 10! Now when I want to connect to the Seagate, enter the password, the following message appears.

\ Seagate… Can't be accessed. You may not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the server administrator to find out if you have permissions.

Multiple connections to a server or shared resource from the same user using multiple user names are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.

Accordingly, I have also disconnected the hard drive from the power supply so that all connections are interrupted (did nothing). I myself have had experience with hardware and software over the years, unfortunately I'm a layperson when it comes to networking.

I thank you for numerous answers!

You may not have permission to use this network resource

Multiple connections to a server or shared resource from the same user using multiple user names are not allowed.

Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.

This does not mean restarting the router or the hard drive xD

You already have the solution in mind🤷🏻♂️😆

@adelynnmelody: I have the same problem. Did you find out how to disconnect a user name and connect another one?

Gu

To connect using newer windoes 10 versions. Go to control panel-turn windows features on/off, find SMB 1.0/CIFS and enable the client, disable the automatic removal… Re-boot and you should able to login/connect with no problems.
