I just wanted to take a look at what that is for a site and had only signed up or registered as mans may call, to be able to see which topics the offers anyway I think that by signing up I qualified for the 7-day test version after 7 days, the subscription is automatically booked in full version, I had registered with the laptop and had to enter no data, i.e. Only entered my email and a password that was it, as a registered user I was already online on the site, I didn't have to use a confirmation link or something under my email.
what's going on now, can someone please enlighten me would be super friendly.
🤔 And how should the funds be debited from your account or reached if you only gave them your email address?
After 7 days, you will probably be asked to subscribe to continue using the account.
Maybe that is now handled by the ip address (and internet access data, which internet provider I'm a customer of) that such subscriptions are concluded? I know too little about it…
The top priority, if you have to register somewhere, just enter an email address, delete it. So that nobody can contact you in any way. As soon as you leave an address, they have an easy game with you.
You also read the terms and conditions to know who you are dealing with.
Read and then delete the account.
I went up on the page once. After a short scroll down I discovered the following text field (shown in bold):
"The free trial subscription
The first 7 days go to us so that you can get a perfect impression of Blinkist Premium. Blinkist is not for you? Cancel without giving a reason before the end of the trial subscription and there are no costs. "
A subscription trap would look very different.
But as long as you have not entered any bank details, they can't deduct anything. However, you should still be able to quit, as mentioned above.
But in what sense, I only find out that the account can be deleted as follows,
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscribed through the website?
If you are currently within a 7-day trial version, you can deactivate it in your account settings at any time before the 7 days expire.
You can cancel your subscription at the end of the current billing period in your account settings.
(under the settings is only there)
Your subscription
basic
Deleting an account
Deleting your account will delete all of your content and all related data. Please note that a purchased subscription will not be terminated.
does deleting the account mean termination?
How do you get such nonsense? If it were as simple as you describe it, others would have come up with this idea long ago.
As long as you have not provided any account details etc., they can't withdraw money.
You have to take a closer look at that. Now I can only try to guess, after all I haven't registered an account. Maybe you will find something under "Your subscription"?
If you find nothing else that has to do with termination, then nothing remains except delete.
