A few days ago I transferred all the pictures from my old cell phone to my laptop (Windows 10), and now I want to transfer them back to my new cell phone. But I can't move / copy the images that I have saved in folders on the laptop to this DCIM folder. If someone could help me how I can get the pictures back on my cell phone, I would be very grateful! What kind of smartphone is it?
Sometimes hooks with me…
Try individually.

By drag and drop.
On the mobile phone you have to allow data transfer when the popup appears
How about a cloud solution? Then you can save yourself all the pushing work now and in the future.
Unfortunately I can only give you general tips, unfortunately you did not write in the cell phone (Android or Iphone is enough) and my glass ball is currently defective. XD
On Android, you should be able to set how the cell phone connects to the PC in the notification center at the top (the beast up there when you swipe down). Here "transfer files" is normally the right one.
With Iphone everything works only with iTunes.
Iphone 11, but have a laptop from hp
If I want to move the images to the DCIM folder, there's a red strikethrough circle where the mouse pointer is, I don't know how to move it, and my laptop is not from Apple because of Itunes and such… But thanks
Then that's clear. With an iPhone connected to a HP… It gets annoying
That is the disadvantage of Apple…
An Android works fine there.
I think you have to work with iTunes or something so that the data transfer works.
Otherwise, I recommend Dropbox
Upload all your data and then download it to your Apple device.
OK thanks! One more thing, if I want to copy the images into the folder, it also always happens that the device is no longer responding or the connection has been lost, what could be the reason?
There are multiple possibilities:
Open icloud.com on the computer, upload the pictures there for photos. Activate iCloud photos on iPhone and let the pictures sync.
Alternatively, install the latest version of iTunes on the computer, connect the iPhone via cable and transfer the photos using iTunes.
Iphone? Then good luck 🙈
The iPhone from iOS 13 is now also available without iTunes. With iTunes, however, it is more catchy.
Happiness is not necessary. It can therefore be saved for bad times.
For iPhones, this works with iCloud. First install the iCloud app on the iPhone and then install the iCloud client on Windows 10: https://www.microsoft.com/...ktq5699m62 Then log in there with your Apple ID. The transmission then takes place via WLAN.
For Android this works with AirDroid: https://www.airdroid.com/de/index.html#go_download_airdroid To do this, the AirDroid app must be installed on the smartphone and the AirDroid client under Windows 10. Then simply log in to both with your Google account. The transmission takes place there also via WLAN.
Try another USB port. There may also be a loose connection.
Possibly. Your laptop does not recognize the Apple device correctly.
