Why is the battery indicator on the laptop wrong?

Hello with my laptop it is like that when I have fully charged it then it is at 100%. If I then unplug the network cable then it is suddenly at 97% and it should actually be fully charged. What could that be?

Does the display jump back to 100% when it is plugged in or does it load the 3%

Perhaps the battery capacity has dropped to 97%, which means that the maximum is only 97%. You can look it up in the battery settings

How old is your laptop? Depending on how worn-out your battery is, it may not be possible to charge it up to 100%.

With my 5 year old Samsung Galayx S5 the battery display goes from 100 to 70% in a few minutes xD
