I urgently need your help. I wanted to update Windows today, but now my laptop does not start up and it says that an error has occurred.
Windows starts an automatic recovery normally after several false starts (without data loss). Otherwise you can flash the same Windows version (i.e. Win7, 8 or 10) to a USB stick, start from it and you can then repair the installed version. YouTube is your best friend for this.
It doesn't work
You can boot the computer with a Windows 10 installation medium. Then you have the option to select recovery options at the bottom left after booting. You can now remove your last update from the computer.
