Need a new laptop for music production and am due to very good services encountered on this

Wa

I already have an interface, thought only because of alienware if so, because.

And I think, but that's why I ask that this is the best laptop I can get for the price

Cu

Ah, great that you already have an interface.

The Alienware laptop is not the best and it is overpriced by 1000 EUR. But if you like the design so much, buy it quietly.

For music production, however, one of these laptops would be well suited to GENAUSO:

https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...g+notebook

https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...windows+10

These laptops have instead of the expensive, a smaller gaming graphics card. The CPU is also a bit smaller, but in practice hardly worse than the expensive i9-8950. Because the i9 is pure advertising, the CPU overheats so fast in a laptop, the CPU can only give 100% power for a few seconds, then due to overheating the CPU is clocked down by 50%.

That's why the i9 brings nothing in a laptop, and a normal i5 / i7 is quite enough.

PS: If you're into 3D games, check out the https://www.notebookcheck.com/...264.0.html, which has an even faster graphics card than the Alienware, and a 144 Hz display. (The Alienware only has a 60 Hz display.)

Wa

Ah, ok, thank you

meanwhile i tend to this one

https://www.da-x.de/de/audio-notebook-konfigurator.html

(would get him to me with 32gb)

Cu

That's a very good idea, I did not even know such a configurator for laptops.

So, yes, like to take the 32 GB, so only costs +220 EUR, which is perfectly OK as a surcharge.

My tip as more updates:

SSD 2.5 "Samsung Evo | 1 TB (+95 EUR)

Wi-Fi + Bluetooth for (+20 EUR)

I'm glad that you do not want to order Alienware, here at da-x.de you are much better off. ))

PS: Do you want 15 "or 17"? Personally, I think a large display is always very important, but some like to be so tiny… Because of easy transport, etc…

Clear anyway

You also need an ASIO-capable sound interface.

There's also a free driver with ASIO4ALL with which you can equip each sound card internally, externally or onboard with ASIO capabilities even if the sound chip does not support it. Before you buy such a sound interface, you should try ASIO4ALL. Here is the download: http://www.asio4all.org/

As a Digital Audio Workstation I would try LMMS before buying a program. This is free software for Windows, Mac and Linux. The Windows version also supports VST plugins and works with ASIO4ALL. Also MIDI is supported. Here is the download: https://lmms.io/

I'm not a noob either.
