Laptop can't connect to my Wi-Fi?

Eyo,

I have my desktop PC (with Wi-Fi card), my laptop and my mobile phone within a 5 meter radius of the router.

PC and laptop have full signal strength and are constantly connected. My laptop, on the other hand, disconnects from the network each time it is retired or off, and can't detect a network for about 10 minutes after I turn it on again. Sometimes it just disconnects from the network while I'm doing something with the laptop. Why?

Is in my opinion on the laptop because that happens to me at the university also constantly.

With WLAN there are various standards like A / B / G and also different frequencies and encryptions (WEP, WPA, WPA2).

Often, routers are set to generic, where he can do everything a bit. Now comes a great iPony which can only certain, the router switches and kicks all other devices which in turn can't the standard.

I often had this with old iPonys and Macs.

But it can also be due to your Lappi that he does not get "the WLAN" from the router, for the same reasons. Just look what your router sends out and if this supports your Lappi, otherwise play with the WLAN.
