I have a paid virus protection (AVG) for multiple devices, but only on the laptop is installed. Yesterday it happened that I via an advertisement (supposedly DHL) einfing a "hotline". Can I still take my AVG on the smartphone, and remove the hotline, or how to proceed?
Antivirus programs are snake oil.
If you have a problem with malvertising, you should block ads locally on the system (even better system-wide).
If you do not use at least one AdBlocker, your system exposes you to unnecessary dangers.
Today's Internet is a garbage dump. You have to protect yourself.
