JBL Charge 3 with laptop bad sound?

When I connect my JBL Charge 3 to my Mac Book, the sound is mega bad. Sounds like a pocket radio and flickers. When I connect the box to my cell phone again, the sound is normal and good. How can I change this? It hasn't always been that way. I tried to reboot, delete Bluetooth connection and pair again.
