I want to upgrade from my Windows 8 to Windows 10. Since my laptop is very weak, I wanted to know whether Windows 10 is more demanding than Windows 8.
If so, I will get Windows 7.
Windows 10 doesn't slow your laptop, except you
have an old laptop.
Yes Windows 10 is more demanding and demands more performance from the system.
Take a look at the differences:

Then there are the features
I have a weak laptop (https://www.amazon.de/Acer-Aspire-E5-571-36CL-Laptop-schwarz/dp/B00LFHNUWW) and I have had it for 6 years.
I just looked up and am on the respective official pages. Except for a minimum screen resolution in Win 10, I saw no differences.
I wouldn't recommend it anyway. Especially with a device that is not that old, Windows 10 offers quick remedies in some things. Honestly, I would buy a new PC / laptop, and leave your current one on 8th.
Then I would rather downgrade to Windows 7. Got a key anyway
Windows 10 needs more power and your laptop will be significantly slower but it is not more demanding than Windows 8 so I would leave Windows 8 on the laptop or as you say Windows 7.
Then a new one would gradually be due, or how do you see it?
