I'm currently looking for a good laptop backpack that should cost less than 120 euro. The most important thing is that the laptop compartment is very well padded, preferably slightly raised from the back of the backpack and preferably made of something fluffy, so that my surface doesn't scratch. Size doesn't really matter, but if you know different ones it would be great if you could send me all you know.
Back then I bought the "Deuter Graduate" for my studies. I still use the backpack at work to transport my laptop.

The Hudson can do both. It has a separate notebook compartment up to 15 inches and a tablet compartment. You will rarely find such a sturdy padded back. Since the notebook compartment (protected from both sides) does not reach the floor, there's absolutely no need to worry.
