I have a question that concerns me: I bought a laptop from Mediamarkt 1 year ago. Since it is not cheap, I also bought insurance. The content of the insurance is that it lasts for 3 years, is replaced in the event of theft and is repaired or replaced in the event of any damage. Since I'm not familiar with insurance, I would like to know whether if I find a little damage to the device, can I take it to the dealer and they will have to repair it? So I can go there and if my laptop can no longer be brought to a booth that it needs to be replaced, can I just have it replaced? I'm not talking about insurance fraud, but about damage that I have found myself on the device after the previous period.
Thank you in advance, I hope for easy-to-understand and informative answers.
If the damage limits the use and does not only correspond to the "natural" wear and tear, you could try that.
Each insurance company has its own terms, so we can't answer that. But no insurance has a "I'll reset it to new condition" promise. That is not realistic. So scratches etc. Of course, you don't have to iron them out, at most get them working again
Just try, more than one no is not possible.
Or 2 variants call. Always ask where the problem comes from. Yours is the contract the guarantee hotline. Because they know the contract, we don't.
