My laptop recently had a hard drive problem, which is why the hard drive had to be replaced (Windows10). Now I have an old hard drive with windows 7 on it and everything ran perfectly except for the operating system. However, the hard drive only recognizes the sound card and no things such as Wi-Fi. I'm a specialist and he said I had to load a new Windows on it. Now to my question how do I install Windows 10 on my Windows 7 laptop via USB stick.
I look forward to helpful feedback
Is it an HDD or SSD?
Via the Microsoft Media Creation Tool: https://www.microsoft.com/...ndows10%20

Windows Media Creation Tool. But be careful! Maybe you have to read out the key before switching from Windows 7 to 10! Perhaps this answer is too late by now. In any case, you have to download some strange tool for reading keys, which can sometimes carry a virus with it when it is not downloaded from the original website.
Produkey would be one of them. But lately this may need a license -.
So not the FP but Win 7 only recognizes the sound card. You could try the following: Enter the model of the laptop in Google (from the other computer) then go to the manufacturer's page of the laptop and download the drivers for Win 7 here. Maybe that's enough. Install drivers. If no drivers are available then switch to Win 10. That is, bring Win 10 to the USB stick (min 8GB) using the Windows Media Creation Tool and then plug the stick into the laptop. Change the boot order in the BIOS so that the stick comes first. Start the laptop and now Win 10 should be installed
Go to the device manager and look under network adapter to see which device instance path (under properties) is given. You should use Google to find the appropriate driver.
Or connect to the LAN for the time being and search for updates with Windows. If it doesn't find anything, you can also install the free program "Driver Booster", it will find everything for you.
