How can I transfer videos from mobile phone to laptop correctly?

I have a Samsung cell phone and I have it with a USB cable

connected my laptop. A window opens and I can

transfer my photos to the laptop. Unfortunately, it doesn't work

with the videos, but why? These only appear as a picture with no playback option,

file jpg. How does it work?

Videos are not saved in .jpg.

if your laptop should now display a video as a jpg, that would be completely new to me. You know something like that. Only from windows vista XD.

would simply open your local data carriers manually, then go to your cell phone and see which memories are available to you and then let the search do the rest.

alternatively, you can upload your video and then pull it off the internet when all else fails.

Look at the file size

If there are several MB, it is sometimes due to your Windows that it does not correctly recognize the corresponding file format. You can remedy this if you e.g. Installed the VLC Media Player (current version). This can read almost all file extensions and types in the multimedia area. This player is also available for free on the www.
