I can't turn off the internal graphics card in my laptop because I have 2 graphics cards inside the Intel HD 630 and the GTX 1060 Max Q and if I turn off the internal everything must calculate the CPU so games and graphics there's a metode to change that?

Na

How do you mean I just do not understand what you mean…

Nothing needs to be turned off. In normal operation, the integrated graphics chip (Intel) is used and the dedicated graphics card (NVIDIA) is used only when performance is needed, for example in games. The whole thing is a power-saving technology, so laptops with dedicated graphics cards not necessarily have an astronomical power consumption and thus a low battery life.

And once an application with the wrong graphics unit is running, then you can change that via the NVIDIA Control Panel. There, in the left navigation, select "Manage 3D Settings" and go to "Program Settings".

No, the CPU does not calculate games and graphics.

If you really should turn off the internal, that takes over the 1060 in the case.

Normally, the internal graphics unit is online in the office.

If you then switch to games, the internal switches off and and the dedicated graphics card.

What did you switch off and what is not possible anymore?

I'm not the one when I turn off the internal and a render test or play the CPU is 100% and you have 3 to 5 FPS

St

If I turn off the internal graphics card in the device mangager I have 5 FPS if überhaubt and the CPU is on 100% throughout

St

Yes, but what if you want to turn off the internal

Ky

Just leave it on, there's no valid reason to disable it. The internal graphics are only used in desktop mode to save battery.

In games you can change the use of the graphics card via the NVIDIA Control Panel:

3D settings and then on the 2nd tab.
