I have the following problem. In my laptop (Dell Inspiron 5570) only the internal iGpu (Intel UHD Graphics) is recognized. My other graphics card (Radeon 530) is no longer recognized. The graphics card is also not displayed in the device manager (where the hidden devices are also displayed). Driver installation is not possible because the graphics card is not found.
How did it all happen? :
Since I had some game crashes caused by the graphics card, I uninstalled the software of the graphics card (AMD adrenaline). With the new installation, I checked Reset to factory settings. After that I uninstalled the software again and can no longer install it because the graphics card is not recognized.
Thanks in advance
P.S. I'm using Windows 10 Home
Driver tried it
Isn't an inspiration a laptop? How the hell does a graphics card fit in there? Have you ever tried to get the graphics card out and put it back in? Or see if it gets any electricity at all (can be measured with a multimeter).
Download times https://www.computerbase.de/downloads/systemtools/grafikkarten/display-driver-uninstaller-ddu/ and use it to uninstall the driver, then restart the PC and install the AMD driver again.
Yes it is a laptop the graphics card is also a laptop only. And this is also soldered
Yes as I said I can't install it because the graphics card is not recognized as a graphics card but as another device
Installer Windows again
Oh, that's problematic. You can switch off the laptop and disconnect it from the power (also from the battery) and then press the power button a few times, then wait a few minutes and then switch it on again and turn it on. You can also see where the drivers are saved and delete the folder and then reinstall the drivers. If that does not help then only the reset remains
